According to the 2015 plan the primary objectives strategies were to revamp the system so that profit becomes the main focus to support the demand and changing model mix. It was also decided that the company will stress on research and development and develop new products, services and experiences for the customers. Maintaining a strong balance sheet was also one of the agenda along with financing the plan accordingly. For this team work is of prime importance (Lewchuk, 1993). As we know the new vision of Ford was to make “people’s lives better by changing the way the world moves” and thus the alternative strategies taken up was to strengthen the so called “profit pillar” which meant manufacturing great quality trucks, vans, utility vehicles which will reinforce the trustworthiness of the company among the customers.
